Part One

Platform and Account Basics

01

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

  • Global School Scout, GSS, we, our, or us means the Global School Scout platform and its operators.
  • User means any individual or organization accessing or using GSS.
  • Teacher means a job seeker, educator, tutor, instructor, or candidate using GSS for career purposes.
  • School means a school, academy, education company, franchise, employer, recruiter, or authorized representative using GSS.
  • Content means text, profiles, jobs, reviews, resumes, images, logos, videos, files, and other materials submitted to the platform.
02

The Global School Scout Platform

Global School Scout is an international education recruitment, school research, and employer-branding platform.

Our services may include:

  • Teaching jobs, applications, and teacher profiles
  • School profiles, reviews, ratings, and employer branding
  • Candidate matching, resume screening, interviews, and teaching demonstrations
  • AI-assisted tools, country guides, visa resources, and educational content
  • Teacher, school, franchise, and enterprise subscription plans

Unless GSS expressly agrees otherwise in writing, GSS is a technology and recruitment-support platform. GSS is not the employer, employee, legal representative, immigration adviser, government agency, or party to an employment contract between a teacher and a school.

03

Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.
  • You must provide accurate and current information.
  • You may use the platform only for lawful purposes.
  • School account holders must have authority to represent the organization.
04

User Accounts and Security

  • Keep registration and contact details accurate.
  • Protect your password and account access.
  • Notify GSS if you suspect unauthorized activity.
  • Do not impersonate another person or organization.
  • Do not create fake, misleading, duplicate, or fraudulent accounts.

GSS may restrict, suspend, merge, or remove accounts that appear fraudulent, duplicated, compromised, inactive, misleading, or in violation of these Terms.

Part Two

For Teachers

Everything teachers should know before creating a profile, applying for jobs, or publishing a review.

05

Teacher Responsibilities

  • Submit truthful resumes, profiles, applications, qualifications, and work history.
  • Use the platform only for genuine career and employment purposes.
  • Communicate professionally and attend agreed interviews.
  • Keep availability and contact information current.
  • Respect school privacy and confidential information.
  • Comply with employment, immigration, and work-authorization laws.

Teachers are responsible for confirming salary, schedule, benefits, location, contract terms, student ages, visa eligibility, taxes, insurance, housing, and relocation support directly with the school.

06

Job Postings and Employment Information

Schools control the content of their job advertisements and remain responsible for the accuracy of each listing.

GSS does not guarantee that:

  • Every listed position remains available.
  • A school will respond to every application.
  • A teacher will qualify for the role.
  • An application will lead to an interview or offer.
  • The final contract will be identical to the original advertisement.
07

Teacher Reviews and Ratings

Reviews must:

  • Be based on a genuine employment, interview, recruitment, or school experience.
  • Represent the reviewer's honest opinion.
  • Avoid harassment, threats, personal attacks, and discriminatory language.
  • Exclude confidential, private, or legally protected information.
  • Not contain knowingly false or misleading claims.

Schools may respond to reviews and report possible policy violations, but they cannot remove a review simply because it is negative or critical.

Part Three

For Schools and Employers

Rules for school profiles, recruitment activity, job advertisements, subscriptions, and candidate information.

08

School Responsibilities

  • Post genuine, accurate, and currently available opportunities.
  • Provide clear salary, schedule, location, benefits, and role expectations.
  • Maintain accurate school, franchise, and campus information.
  • Communicate with applicants professionally.
  • Comply with employment, tax, immigration, privacy, and anti-discrimination laws.
  • Use candidate information only for legitimate recruitment purposes.

Schools may not publish fraudulent, deceptive, discriminatory, abusive, illegal, or unrelated listings.

09

School Profiles

School Profiles may include descriptions, campuses, programs, logos, photos, contact details, vacancies, reviews, ratings, and social links.

GSS may:

  • Standardize formatting and presentation.
  • Correct clear spelling or layout issues.
  • Request verification or supporting information.
  • Remove misleading or prohibited content.
  • Connect related franchise and campus pages.
10

Verified and Approved Badges

A GSS verification or approval badge may show that certain identity, ownership, profile, business-information, or recruitment-service checks have been completed.

A badge is not government approval, legal certification, a guarantee of working conditions, visa eligibility, employee satisfaction, or a recommendation to accept employment.

11

School Use of Candidate Information

Schools may use candidate information only for legitimate recruitment and employment purposes.

  • Do not sell, rent, trade, or redistribute candidate data.
  • Do not add candidates to unrelated marketing lists without permission.
  • Do not publish private candidate information.
  • Do not retain information longer than reasonably necessary.
  • Do not use applicant information for fraud, harassment, or discrimination.

Part Four

Services, Billing, and AI

How subscriptions, recruitment support, automated tools, and service limitations work.

12

AI Tools and Automated Information

GSS may provide AI-powered assistants, matching tools, screening tools, summaries, recommendations, questionnaires, and educational content.

AI-generated information does not constitute:

  • Legal, immigration, financial, tax, or medical advice
  • A government decision
  • A guarantee of work eligibility
  • A final hiring recommendation

Users should verify important information with qualified professionals, employers, government agencies, or other authoritative sources.

13

Subscription Plans and Billing

  • Users agree to pay the stated fees and applicable taxes.
  • Recurring subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal.
  • Multi-month and annual discounts may require full advance payment.
  • Cancellation does not necessarily create a right to a prorated refund.
  • Overdue payments may lead to restricted features or account suspension.
14

Recruitment Services for Schools

Depending on the plan, services may include:

  • Job promotion and candidate delivery
  • Resume screening and candidate matching
  • Recruiter support and interviews
  • Recorded interviews and teaching demonstrations
  • Recruitment strategy consultations

Schools remain responsible for verification, legal eligibility, final interviews, offers, contracts, immigration obligations, and the final hiring decision.

15

No Guarantees

For Schools

GSS does not guarantee a specific number of applicants, a completed hire, a hiring timeline, candidate acceptance, employee retention, visa approval, profile traffic, or search-engine ranking.

For Teachers

GSS does not guarantee an interview, job offer, salary, visa approval, relocation support, school response, contract completion, or a positive employment experience.

Part Five

Privacy, Content, and Ownership

How personal information, user submissions, public content, and intellectual property are handled.

16

Personal Information and Data Protection

GSS does not sell or rent users' personal information to unrelated third parties.

Information may be used to:

  • Create and manage accounts
  • Operate and secure the platform
  • Process subscriptions and payments
  • Provide support and recruitment services
  • Match teachers with relevant opportunities
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Meet legal and regulatory obligations

Relevant teacher information may be shared with a school when the teacher applies, requests an introduction, or participates in a recruitment service.

17

User Content and Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of original content they submit, subject to the rights granted to GSS under these Terms.

By submitting content, users grant GSS a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, publish, display, distribute, index, promote, translate, and make that content available through the platform and related services.

Users must own the submitted content or have permission to use it and may not infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, image rights, or confidential information.

18

Search Engines, AI Search, and Content Discovery

Public school information, job listings, reviews, responses, guides, and other public content may be indexed, summarized, displayed, or discovered through search engines, social platforms, and AI-powered search tools.

Private resumes, applications, account information, and non-public candidate data are not intended to be published as public search content.

19

Prohibited Conduct

  • Fake jobs, profiles, reviews, resumes, applications, or credentials
  • Impersonation, fraud, scams, spam, harassment, or illegal activity
  • Unauthorized scraping, harvesting, copying, or data extraction
  • Attempts to bypass platform security or account restrictions
  • Malicious software or harmful code
  • Manipulation of ratings, reviews, applications, or search results
  • Threats, private-data publication, or candidate-data resale
20

Third-Party Services and Links

GSS may link to or integrate with school websites, government resources, payment providers, maps, social platforms, applicant-tracking systems, analytics, and communication tools.

GSS does not control and is not responsible for the content, security, policies, availability, or actions of third-party services.

21

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GSS is not responsible for losses, disputes, claims, or damages arising from employment agreements, salary disputes, visa decisions, user conduct, inaccurate submissions, third-party services, technical interruptions, unauthorized access outside reasonable control, or reliance on AI-generated information.

GSS does not become a party to an employment relationship merely because an introduction, application, interview, recommendation, or recruitment service occurs through the platform.

22

Account Suspension and Termination

GSS may investigate, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraud, fake listings, fake reviews, or misrepresentation
  • Candidate-data misuse
  • Harassment, threats, spam, or abusive conduct
  • Illegal activity or intellectual-property violations
  • Non-payment or security concerns
23

Changes to the Platform or These Terms

GSS may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, pricing, plan limits, policies, or services.

Continued use of GSS after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

24

Governing Law and Disputes

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms and disputes relating to GSS will be governed by the laws of Taiwan, Republic of China.

Before beginning formal legal proceedings, users are encouraged to contact GSS and attempt to resolve the issue in good faith.

25

Severability and Entire Agreement

If any section of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Review Guidelines, Refund Policy, subscription terms, and any separate written service agreement, form the agreement between the user and GSS.
