Taipei American School is hiring a Baker for its food-service team in Taipei, Taiwan. This is a 10-month position each school year, working 05:00–13:30 including a 30-minute lunch break.
Prepare baked products and catering orders, coordinate with bakery and pizza colleagues, guide baking assistants, maintain hygiene and HACCP procedures, and manage production to reduce waste.
Requirements: high school graduation, at least three years of high-volume baking experience, Class C baking/pastry technician certification, fluent Chinese and basic English reading for recipes/orders. Applicants must work accurately, maintain sanitation, stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
