Taipei European School is seeking a passionate Music Teacher for a maternity-cover appointment from late October 2026 through the end of March 2027. The teacher will inspire young learners aged 3–7 and teach Music across the British Primary Section, with a primary focus on EYFS and KS1. Existing lesson plans, slides, and curriculum frameworks are provided to support continuity.
The role includes leading the EYFS and KS1 Christmas Singalongs, major termly productions, school showcases, and music-related co-curricular activities. The teacher will assist the Music Subject Leader with assemblies, shows, festival rehearsals, and other performing-arts events; support assessment and progress tracking; and promote music through wider-school and community initiatives. Some events may require occasional work outside regular school hours.
Applicants should have strong music-subject and pedagogical knowledge, confidence teaching children aged 3–7, and experience with choral or vocal direction and performance preparation.
