The Really Great Teacher Company is hiring Philippine-based online ESL teachers to deliver one-to-one, 25-minute conversational and assessment-based English lessons to adult Japanese learners from beginner through advanced levels. This is a fully remote independent-contractor role with an assigned shift and five-minute breaks between consecutive classes.
Minimum requirements include a completed three-year National Diploma, an accredited 120-hour TEFL certificate or equivalent, at least one year of ESL teaching experience, and the ability to teach across CEFR proficiency levels. Candidates should be energetic, student-focused, comfortable teaching online, organised, adaptable, and available for a required demo lesson. A reliable computer, 20+ Mbps fibre internet via LAN, backup power, webcam, noise-cancelling headset, and a quiet teaching space are required.
