I worked at international schools in Tokyo for several years and can say that YIS has a good reputation. IB continuum school. I have friends who worked there and I visited the school many times for sports fixtures, PD sessions etc. and have a good impression of it. While the remuneration package is not the highest in Japan, the work culture for staff at YIS is great. From what I’ve heard the new Honmoku campus is fantastic.
